Dandruff
A chronic scalp disorder, dandruff is characterized by an itchy scalp and an excess of white flakes off the skin of the scalp. The skin cells starting to grow in the dermis and work their way up to form a layer of dead cells on the skin surface.
Brushing our hair gets rid of most of these microscopic dead cells without us even noticing. When they get larger due to fungal infection or an overly dry scalp, it may result in the condition dandruff. Read the rest of this entry »
